The Nissan Frontier has gone through a redesign for the 2022 model year, and we couldn't be more excited! The outside of the vehicle gets more of a rugged and upright styling, making it look more menacing. Under the hood of this beast is a powerful 310 horsepower V6 which is among the best in the class. Another major renovation for the Frontier is on the inside as the cabin, and the layout of the buttons has a more modern feel. In addition, there is plenty of new technology and advanced drivers aids and features. All of these fantastic features lead to a truck that is more than competitive in the pickup market. S
Things start with the base S level trim, which, like every version of the Nissan Frontier, comes with a 3.6-liter V6 that kicks out 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission, and while rear-wheel-drive is standard, the Frontier gives you the option of four-wheel-drive with low range gearing for some added traction. As for features, the base level S comes with 16-inch wheels, a push-button start, cloth upholstery, and a tilt-only steering wheel. Tech for the S is plentiful as it comes with a six-speaker sound system and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There are plenty of safety features available, too, as the S comes with a Forward Collision Mitigation system that will warn you of an impending collision and can also apply the brakes in certain situations.

SV
The SV builds on what the S offers with a couple of new features, plus a few optional packages. Standard are 17-inch wheels and a power-adjustable front seat. The Convenience package is the first available option package and it comes with a spray-in bedliner, adjustable bed tie-down cleats, bed under-rail lighting, heated mirrors, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and heated front seats. Other features include a trailer hitch with a wiring harness, proximity keyless entry, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The second option package is the Premium package which mixes in a 10-speaker Fender sound system, simulated leather upholstery, LED headlights, and a sunroof.

Pro-4X
The final trim level for the Frontier is the Pro-4X, and it is the best equipped of them all! It comes with Bilstein shock absorbers, extra skid plates, a locking rear differential, LED headlights, all-terrain tires, and a larger 9-inch touchscreen. The Pro Convenience package adds to this with a 360-degree camera system and a spectacular wireless smartphone charging pad, while the Pro Premium package has leather upholstery. If you are looking for some more safety features, the Pro-4X, like all versions of the Frontier, comes with several advanced ones such as lane departure warning, a blind-spot monitor with rear-cross traffic alert, automatic rear braking, and adaptive cruise control.
