Trim Levels of the 2019 Altima

With five trim levels to choose from, the 2019 Nissan Altima has plenty of options to ensure that you'll be able to pick a set of features that works best for you. Those five trim levels consist of the S, SR, SV, SL, and the Platinum. The standard powertrain for all the trims is a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine matched with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive that puts out 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is also available. The SR and Platinum trims also allow for a turbocharged 2-liter 4-cylinder engine also paired to a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive for 248 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque.

The basic trim of the Altima line, the S trim, starts things off with a series of features that won't make it seems too basic. These features include a 6-speaker sound system, 16-inch steel wheels, four USB ports, automatic headlights, satellite radio, keyless entry, smartphone integration, push-button ignition, Bluetooth streaming, remote engine start, 8-inch touchscreen display, rearview camera, 40/60-split folding rear seat, forward collision warning, and cloth upholstery.

Building on the S trim's features is the SR trim. The SV trim level blends the features of the S and SR trim levels. This trim level loses the SR's sportier suspension and styling, but gains stop-and-go adaptive cruise control, 17-inch alloy wheels, rear automatic braking, a sunroof, lane keeping assist, LED foglights, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, remote engine start, as well as heated front seats, side mirrors, and steering wheel.

The second-to-last trim, the SL, brings to the table a nine-speaker Bose sound system, leather upholstery, NissanConnect services, power-adjustable passenger seat, and an onboard navigation system. Meanwhile, the final trim, the Platinum, adds ambient cabin lighting, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a 360-degree camera.
