Despite its compact nature, the Nissan Kicks offers a lofty driving experience with excellent visibility. Available in three trim levels, the S, SV, and SR, the Nissan Kicks has several new updates across the board for 2021, while maintaining its impressive fuel economy thanks to its continuously variable automatic transmission or CVT, and its surprisingly roomy interior space. Safety Shield® 360

Lane Departure Warning

Hold it right there. Lane Departure Warning helps make sure you change lanes only when you mean to. If the system detects that you're drifting over, haptic feedback on the steering wheel can let you know.

Blind Spot Warning

Wait. Was that a car over there? Kicks with Blind Spot Warning helps keep an eye on the blind spot area and gives you an alert if it detects a vehicle hiding there.

Kicks Connectivity

Apple CarPlay® integration

People to see? Places to be? Just ask Siri®. Equipped with Siri® voice control, Apple CarPlay® brings your contacts, favorite messaging apps, Apple Music® playlists, Apple Maps, and more on board to your Kicks. Simply plug in your compatible iPhone® and go.

Android Auto™

With Android Auto™, you can keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel while using your voice to help you with your day. Ask Google to play your favorite song, navigate home, or respond to a text hands-free. Just say, "Hey Google" or long-press the voice control button on your steering wheel.

Kick Back and Relax

60/40 Rear Folding Seats

Kicks' 60/40 2nd-row split-folding seats and maximum length of 57" offer flexible seating configurations to fit your lifestyle.

A Hatch That's Up to the Task

With 25.3 cu. ft. of cargo volume behind the rear seats, Kicks has more than enough room to pack it all in.

Smart, Fuel-Efficient, and Agile

4-wheel disc brakes

Kicks' available 4-Wheel Disc Brakes have impressive stopping power in adverse weather conditions.

Speed-Sensitve Steering

Electric power steering helps automatically adjust steering feel based on vehicle speed by cutting down on the amount of power needed from the engine. This also means more miles out of every tank.

New Features of the 2021 Nissan Kicks

One of the Nissan Kicks' new features for the 2021 model year is its updated exterior design. Its new trapezoidal front grille is larger with more dramatic angles, framed by sleeker headlamps on either side. The roof appears to "float" above the body due to Nissan's signature black-painted frames between the windows, creating a blacked-out strip between the doors and roof. The inside has been spruced up for this year as well, with a stylish center console featuring its updated infotainment touchscreen. The seats feature the NASA-inspired "zero gravity" design, built to support the body across 14 key pressure points.

2021 Nissan Kicks Power & Handling

The sole powertrain opinion for the 2021 Nissan Kicks is the 1.6-liter inline-4 paired to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). This pairing offers 122 horsepower and 114 pound-feet of torque, as well as an impressive EPA-rated fuel economy of 36 MPG on the highway. The CVT works to keep the Kicks in its optimal gear ratio no matter the speed, without adding any additional noise. The Kicks comes with standard front-wheel drive, and handles especially well around sharp corners and on winding roads, thanks to its tight turning radius and responsive suspension.

What are the Nissan Kicks' Tech Features?

As previously mentioned, the Nissan Kicks has an updated center console for the 2021 model year, which includes the addition of standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration for all trim levels. This functionality is accessible via the Kicks' infotainment touchscreen, which starts out at 7 inches, and increases to 8 inches in the upper trims. The top-tier SR trim features the available Bose sound system, which includes UltraNearfield speakers built into the headrest for an immersive listening experience. Other available tech features include USB-C ports in addition to the standard USB Type-A, and an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot.
