What kind of engine does the 2018 370Z Coupe run on?

The 2018 370Z Coupe is built on a foundation of a Front Midship platform and is powered by a 332 horsepower 3.7-liter VQ37VHR DOHC V6 engine with Variable Valve Event and Lift or VVEL and a choice of either a six-speed manual transmission with SynchroRev Match® or a seven-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control. There are two new changes to the 2018 370Z Coupe, on all trim levels driving performance has been upgraded with what engineers call "concept of acceleration development." No changes were made to the engine's internal build; the enhanced driving performance comes from changes to the Accelerator Pedal Opening and the Throttle Valve Opening angles. Torque is now more accessible, and the little adjustment to the Throttle Valve Opening reduces the need for constant acceleration changes. These changes create a stronger and smoother acceleration. The six-speed manual transmission is equipped with the new EXEDY® high-performance clutch furthering the driving experience. The new 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels were created to reduce vibration while improving the balance of the wheels and a new cutting process that cuts five grams of weight from the wheel balance. There are two transmission choices for the 2018 370Z Coupe; a six-speed manual that includes an available synchronized downshift rev matching system on the Sport and Sport Tech models and a seven-speed automatic with Adaptive Shift Control and Downshift Rev Matching. The estimated fuel economy of the Coupe is 24 miles per gallon on the highway. The steering of the 370Z Coupe is delivered by a vehicle-speed-sensitive power-assisted rack and pinion design which reduces the unwanted kickback from steering and vibrations.

What are some of the features of the 370Z Coupe's trim levels?

The two-passenger 2018 370Z Coupe comes in four different tier levels; 370Z, 370Z Touring, 370Z Sport and 370Z Sport Tech. The 370Z Coupe exterior is full of new enhancements like the new 19-inch wheel design, dark tinted headlights, black matte chrome plated door handles, and the rear lights are also now dark tinted all of which give the 370Z Coupe a more dynamic and sportier look. The dynamic look comes from the low and dramatic roofline and the quarter window design. The boomerang-shaped headlights feature High-Intensity Discharge xenon lights and are auto on and off and LED daytime running lights come standard on all tiers. The body of 370Z Coupe features aluminum door panels, hood, and hatch. A front suspension cradle, underbody "V-bar" and rear structural reinforcements help to lessen front and rear lateral bending. The rear hatch has an electronic release which can be accessed with a switch on the center console and Passion Red has been added to the six color options for the 370Z Coupe and has a beautiful jewel-like look to it.

What kind of safety and secruity options does the 2018 370Z Coupe have?

Safety and Security options are abundant in the 370Z Coupe. Standard features include front and rear crumple zones with Zone Body Construction, an energy absorbing steering column, slide away brake pedal, aluminum side door guard beams, hood buckling creases and safety centers, vehicle dynamic control and a traction control system. Also included as standard is a four wheel vented disc brake system that has an Anti-Lock Braking System and Electronic Brake force Distribution and Brake Assist. Security is also standard with Nissan's Vehicle Immobilizer System and a Vehicle Security System.
