New 2017 Nissan Titan XD at Reedman-Toll Nissan of Drexel Hill for Drexel Hill, PA

The 2017 Nissan Titan XD is a great truck that will provide drivers with an impressive amount of towing and hauling power, as well as one of the most sophisticated and comfortable rides on the road. The truck is perfect for customers who need more power than the excellent half-ton Titan, yet do not want to opt for a less efficient heavy-duty truck from the competitors. With its incredible Cummins turbodiesel engine and well-constructed frame, the Titan XD has tons of power and a thoughtfully designed interior which will make it a favorite among seasoned truck drivers. The 2016 Titan XD was released as an all-new model, and the 2017 model has received some great updates for the new year, including a new single cab body that is ideal for commercial fleets.

Under the Titan XD's Hood

There are two incredible engines available with the Titan XD. The first is the gas-powered 5.6-liter V8, which will produce 390 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. This engine is linked to a seven-speed automatic transmission. The optional engine is a 5.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel V8 which delivers 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque. Linked to this engine is a six-speed automatic transmission that has been engineered to comfortably handle that impressive amount of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard with the Titan XD, though four-wheel drive is available as an option. The truck is available in the Pro-4X trim, and this has been created for off-road enthusiasts. The Pro-4X comes standard with all-wheel drive, a two-speed transfer case, a lockable rear differential, skid plates, and Bilstein shocks, along with other performance features.

Design of Nissan Titan XD

Nissan offers their Titan XD in two great body styles. The optional crew cab features a 6.5-foot bed length and seating for either five or six passengers, while the new single cab is equipped with an 8-foot bed and seating for three passengers. There are five optional trim levels called the S, SV, Pro-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve. The new single cab is available with the S and SV trims, while every trim is available with the crew cab. The base S trim is an excellent option for customers who need a work truck, and it will come equipped with a lockable tailgate, Bluetooth, a bench front seat, and both vinyl and cloth upholstery. It also has a 5-inch display with controls for audio and mobile apps. The SV adds chrome exterior trim, Siri Eyes Free, and the brand's NissanConnect mobile-app integration. The Pro-4X not only has off-road performance features, but also adds a spray-in bedliner, dual-zone automatic climate control, a 7-inch display, and navigation. The SL trim has a variety of helpful features like a cargo-management rail system, leather upholstery, and a premium audio system. The top Platinum Reserve trim offers a range of luxury amenities, including upgraded premium leather upholstery, cooled front seats, and it can be equipped with a dual-screen rear entertainment system.
