New 2017 Nissan Juke at Reedman-Toll Nissan of Drexel Hill for Drexel Hill, PA

The 2017 Nissan Juke is a cool entry into our daily driving lives, and adds pizazz to the overall mix of options out there. Once you've driven one, you'll remember it's smooth blend of a turbo engine, dynamic handling, and sport front seats with features from an SUV, such as a strong lower body, optional AWD, and elevated height. The SV model has the Cold Weather Package standard for 2017. The SV and SL both gain a newly exclusive 'Black Pearl' model as well as aluminum-alloy wheels. The Juke also sports it up in 2017 with a center console is sculpted to remind you of a motorcycle tank, and then new sport front bucket seats too! Each model level is procurable in all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. The JUKE Color Studio personalization program also adds a touch of personal flair to certain elements on each Juke-- more on that in a minute.

Under the Juke's Hood

Every 2017 Juke model roars in standard with a 1.6-liter direct-injection, 16-valve, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. You'll feel 177 pound-feet of torque and a ready 188 of horsepower, while also enjoying the benefits of the Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS). The Juke is typically is seen with a CVT and front-wheel drive, however, there is a choice to add all-wheel drive. The Nismo and Nismo RS models make their presence undeniable with a 6-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive by design. Direct injection helps augment combustion, power, torque, and emissions. The Xtronic transmission can have a manual mode and a D-step Logic Control that creates a feeling that is more in line with traditional shifting. The Juke models with front-wheel drive have been estimated with a fuel economy of 32 mpg on the highway and 28 mpg in the city. Models with AWD have been estimated with a fuel economy of 30 mpg on the highway and 26 mpg in the city. Within the AWD system, up to 50% of the available engine torque can be sent to either rear wheel (not just 25% equally to each rear wheel).

Design of Nissan Juke

There are many standalone choices that can be added to certain models, like a center armrest up front, special wheels, and interior illumination. The Color Studio enables owners to choose colors for 12 of the exterior and interior elements such as the rearview mirror caps, rear roof spoiler, wheel inserts, and door handles. The colors spectrum is large enough to feel like it's worth your time, with White, Yellow, Red, Orange, Electric Blue, 'Black Purple', Matte Black, and 'Carbon-Fiber Look'. The Juke is obtainable in 5 trim levels: S, SV, SL, Nismo, and Nismo RS. The SV brings automatic climate control, a sunroof, rear privacy glass, heated side mirrors, satellite radio, heated front seats, upgraded cloth upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and the Integrated Control system ( I-Con). This system has 3 drive mode settings: Normal, Eco, and Sport. There is an available Tech package that contains smartphone integration, a navigation system with a 5.8-inch touchscreen, the Rockford Fosgate sound system, and a 360-degree camera system. The SL trim involves several more items, like automatic headlights, foglights, and leather upholstery. The sport-focused Nismo model rocks the pavement with 18-inch wheels, a sport suspension, front sport seats, slick exterior and interior styling details, high-performance tires, and a steering wheel wrapped in synthetic suede and leather. The Nismo RS keeps all of that sportiness going plus chucks in robust brakes, a limited-slip differential, a ready-for-action tuned suspension, Recaro front sport seats, and a carbon-fiber style of trim within the dashboard. The standard equipment in any Juke starts with cruise control, 17-inch wheels, keyless ignition/entry, a rearview camera, A/C, full power accessories, a 5-inch monitor, Bluetooth, and a 6-speaker sound system.
